THE LOST ART OF DRAWING BUILDINGS

Short Documentary | 9 minutes

The Lost Art of Drawing Buildings is a short documentary film about the craftsmanship of the draftsmen who worked on the design of the London Dominion Public Building. We found the original drawings in perfect state of preservation. They depict the building in all its aspects with an impeccable profusion of details.  It is striking to think that they were made long before architects gained access to the advantages of the digital age. The documentary is a tribute to the draftsmen’s artistry and technique.
